We are interested in hearing from experienced Training Programme Manager professionals who can deliver Difficult Conversations training for organisations operating in and around Nanjing.
Assignment Overview
Client is seeking an experienced training programme manager to deliver Difficult Conversations training for managers, team leads, and client-facing professionals in Nanjing, China, and across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients improve communication quality, influence, and stakeholder alignment in the workplace.
The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.
The current requirement points to Hybrid delivery and should suit someone comfortable supporting Multi-Session Programme projects.
Delivery Scope
- Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
- Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
- Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
- Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
- Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
Candidate Profile
Strong practical expertise in Difficult Conversations; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; excellent facilitation, coaching instincts, and the ability to use examples, role-play, and feedback effectively; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.
Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in business communication, presentation, facilitation, or stakeholder management programmes and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
- Availability for project-based work linked to Nanjing, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
- Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
- Comfort operating in Hybrid settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
