Capability Building Specialist – ESG & Sustainability (Changsha)

Ultimahub is expanding its trainer network for ESG & Sustainability and is looking for a credible Capability Building Specialist who can support assignments linked to Changsha and wider regional demand.

Opportunity Overview

The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.

We are building our pool of trusted specialist trainers for ESG & Sustainability assignments in Changsha, China, and across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients strengthen awareness, control discipline, and day-to-day compliance behaviour.

Key Areas of Responsibility

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Multi-Session Programme work delivered primarily in a In-Person environment.

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make ESG & Sustainability content easier to apply after the session.

Preferred Background

Hands-on credibility in ESG & Sustainability; experience facilitating learning for business teams; strong command of policy-driven content, risk themes, and practical behaviour-based learning design; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.

  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in ESG & Sustainability with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Changsha, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.

A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes compliance, risk, governance, ethics, or regulated-environment training in corporate or enterprise environments.
