Opportunity Overview

An upcoming client brief requires a capable consultant who can lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion learning engagements for HR teams, managers, and leadership populations across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.

  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Diversity, Equity & Inclusion content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Diversity, Equity & Inclusion training sessions for client teams linked to Chengdu and wider Asia.

Preferred Background

  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with evidence of practical business or corporate application.

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.
