Client-Facing Trainer – Talent Acquisition (Suzhou)

We are interested in hearing from experienced Client-Facing Trainer professionals who can deliver Talent Acquisition training for organisations operating in and around Suzhou.

Opportunity Overview

This scheduled role is suited to a delivery-focused trainer with hands-on Talent Acquisition credibility and experience working with HR teams, managers, and leadership populations in Suzhou, China, and across Asia. The work centres on practical application, learner confidence, and helping clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

The requirement is centred on delivery quality, participant engagement, and the ability to align learning interventions with organisational priorities. Client-facing credibility will matter throughout the engagement.

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Short Series work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Talent Acquisition content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.

Preferred Background

Clear subject-matter credibility in Talent Acquisition; prior exposure to multinational or enterprise audiences; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; confident supporting learners with practical examples, tools, and Q&A.

Best suited to professionals with backgrounds in HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, ideally with experience working with multinational clients or enterprise teams in Asia.

  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Talent Acquisition with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Suzhou, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
