Colombo-Based Enterprise Trainer – Workforce Planning

Position Summary

This scheduled role is suited to a delivery-focused trainer with hands-on Workforce Planning credibility and experience working with HR teams, managers, and leadership populations in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and across Asia. The work centres on practical application, learner confidence, and helping clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

What Success Looks Like

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Short Series work delivered primarily in a In-Person environment.

  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Workforce Planning content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Workforce Planning training sessions for client teams linked to Colombo and wider Asia.
  • Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.

Who This Would Suit

Clear subject-matter credibility in Workforce Planning; prior exposure to multinational or enterprise audiences; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; confident supporting learners with practical examples, tools, and Q&A.

  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Workforce Planning with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Colombo, Sri Lanka, and wider Asia where relevant.

Best suited to professionals with backgrounds in HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, ideally with experience working with multinational clients or enterprise teams in Asia.
