Ultimahub is expanding its trainer network for First-Time Manager and is looking for a credible Capability Building Specialist who can support assignments linked to Hai Phong and wider regional demand.
Brief Overview
Client is seeking an experienced specialist trainer to deliver First-Time Manager training for people managers, supervisors, and team leads in Hai Phong, Vietnam, and across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients build stronger people managers and more effective team leadership.
The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.
The current requirement points to In-Person delivery and should suit someone comfortable supporting Multi-Session Programme projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
- Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
- Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
- Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
- Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
Candidate Background
Strong practical expertise in First-Time Manager; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; credible management experience, facilitation maturity, and strong behavioural coaching capability; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.
Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in people management, manager capability, team leadership, or change leadership and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
- Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
- Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
- Proven subject-matter credibility in First-Time Manager with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
