Shanghai Remote Training Specialist – Innovation & Creative Thinking

A current stream of client demand has created an opportunity for a commercially credible Remote Training Specialist in Innovation & Creative Thinking for assignments associated with Shanghai and the wider Asian market.

Brief Overview

The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.

An upcoming client brief requires a capable specialist trainer who can lead Innovation & Creative Thinking learning engagements for corporate teams, individual contributors, and managers across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients strengthen professional effectiveness, collaboration, and day-to-day judgment.

Core Responsibilities

Delivery is expected to take place in a Remote / Virtual format, with the engagement currently framed as Multi-Session Programme support.

  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Innovation & Creative Thinking content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Innovation & Creative Thinking training sessions for client teams linked to Shanghai and wider Asia.
  • Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.

Candidate Background

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Innovation & Creative Thinking; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; strong facilitation, practical examples, and the ability to move from concept to workplace application; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Innovation & Creative Thinking with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Shanghai, China, and wider Asia where relevant.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to professional skills, problem solving, emotional intelligence, or workplace effectiveness programmes, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.
