Client is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver Design Thinking & Innovation training for senior managers, leadership teams, and transformation stakeholders in Shanghai, China, and across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.
Key Areas of Responsibility
The expected delivery mode for this brief is In-Person, and the role should be approached as a Multi-Session Programme requirement.
- Deliver structured Design Thinking & Innovation training sessions for client teams linked to Shanghai and wider Asia.
- Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
- Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
- Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
- Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
Preferred Background
Strong practical expertise in Design Thinking & Innovation; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.
- Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
- Proven subject-matter credibility in Design Thinking & Innovation with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
- Availability for project-based work linked to Shanghai, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
- Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
