Nanjing APAC Training Advisor – Strategic Decision Making

We are seeking a delivery-ready APAC Training Advisor with proven Strategic Decision Making capability for assignments connected to Nanjing, China, and broader Asia.

Brief Overview

We are building our pool of trusted advisors for Strategic Decision Making assignments in Nanjing, China, and across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.

Assignments may range from focused workshops to short capability programmes, depending on the client scope, learner profile, and delivery context. The strongest candidates will be able to adapt content without losing clarity or commercial relevance.

The current requirement points to Hybrid delivery and should suit someone comfortable supporting Multi-Session Programme projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.

Candidate Background

Hands-on credibility in Strategic Decision Making; experience facilitating learning for business teams; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.

A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work in corporate or enterprise environments.

  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Strategic Decision Making with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Nanjing, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
