Capability Building Specialist – Strategic Thinking (Kaohsiung)

For upcoming Strategic Thinking briefs, we are looking for a strong Capability Building Specialist who can engage professional audiences linked to Kaohsiung and surrounding markets.

Assignment Overview

We are building our pool of trusted specialist trainers for Strategic Thinking assignments across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.

The assignment requires a trainer who can structure material clearly, manage professional audiences confidently, and adapt delivery to different sectors, teams, and levels of experience.

Delivery is expected to take place in a Hybrid format, with the engagement currently framed as Short Series support.

Delivery Scope

  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.

Candidate Profile

Hands-on credibility in Strategic Thinking; experience facilitating learning for business teams; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.

A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work in corporate or enterprise environments.

  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Strategic Thinking with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
