Colombo-Based Regional Training Consultant – Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills

This role supports the growth of our Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills trainer pool and would suit a credible Regional Training Consultant available for assignments associated with Colombo.

Brief Overview

An upcoming client brief requires a capable consultant who can lead Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills learning engagements for HR teams, managers, and leadership populations across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

The requirement is centred on delivery quality, participant engagement, and the ability to align learning interventions with organisational priorities. Client-facing credibility will matter throughout the engagement.

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Multi-Session Programme work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills training sessions for client teams linked to Colombo and wider Asia.

Candidate Background

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Talent Acquisition & Interviewing Skills; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.

  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
  • Comfort operating in Hybrid settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
