Freelance Corporate Trainer (Osaka) – Procurement & Vendor Management

A current stream of client demand has created an opportunity for a commercially credible Freelance Corporate Trainer in Procurement & Vendor Management for assignments associated with Osaka and the wider Asian market.

Position Summary

The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.

An upcoming client brief requires a capable trainer who can lead Procurement & Vendor Management learning engagements for operations teams, project stakeholders, and process owners in Osaka, Japan, and across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients improve process discipline, service reliability, and operational performance.

What Success Looks Like

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Multi-Session Programme work delivered primarily in a Remote / Virtual environment.

  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Procurement & Vendor Management content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.

Who This Would Suit

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Procurement & Vendor Management; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; strong operational credibility, structured thinking, and the ability to link process content to workplace execution; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Procurement & Vendor Management with evidence of practical business or corporate application.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to operations improvement, project delivery, procurement, quality, or supply chain capability building, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.
