George Town-Based Training Programme Manager – Excel & Spreadsheets

This opportunity is suited to a practical Training Programme Manager who can translate Excel & Spreadsheets knowledge into clear business outcomes for assignments linked to George Town.

Assignment Overview

The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.

An upcoming client brief requires a capable training programme manager who can lead Excel & Spreadsheets learning engagements for professional staff, reporting teams, and business users across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients improve digital productivity, reporting accuracy, and workplace efficiency.

Delivery Scope

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Multi-Session Programme work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Excel & Spreadsheets content easier to apply after the session.

Candidate Profile

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Excel & Spreadsheets; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; hands-on capability, demonstration-led delivery, and the ability to build learner confidence through practice; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Excel & Spreadsheets with evidence of practical business or corporate application.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to Excel, analytics, reporting, Microsoft 365, or digital productivity programmes, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.
