The assignment requires a trainer who can structure material clearly, manage professional audiences confidently, and adapt delivery to different sectors, teams, and levels of experience.

Client is seeking an experienced consultant to deliver Business Acumen training for senior managers, leadership teams, and transformation stakeholders across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.

Key Areas of Responsibility

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Consulting work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.

Preferred Background

Strong practical expertise in Business Acumen; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.

  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Business Acumen with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Guangzhou, China, and wider Asia where relevant.

Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
