Hybrid Learning Consultant (Changsha) – Onboarding & Retention

We are building our pool of trusted professionals for Onboarding & Retention delivery and are now seeking a strong Hybrid Learning Consultant for client needs connected to Changsha and Asia.

Assignment Overview

The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.

Client is seeking an experienced consultant to deliver Onboarding & Retention training for HR teams, managers, and leadership populations across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

Delivery Scope

The expected delivery mode for this brief is Hybrid, and the role should be approached as a Consulting requirement.

  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.

Candidate Profile

Strong practical expertise in Onboarding & Retention; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.

  • Availability for project-based work linked to Changsha, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
  • Comfort operating in Hybrid settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.

Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
