In-House Trainer – Business Acumen (Nanjing)

Ultimahub is expanding its trainer network for Business Acumen and is looking for a credible In-House Trainer who can support assignments linked to Nanjing and wider regional demand.

Opportunity Overview

An upcoming client brief requires a capable trainer who can lead Business Acumen learning engagements for senior managers, leadership teams, and transformation stakeholders across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.

This brief is designed for professionals who can balance subject-matter depth with applied facilitation. Strong judgement, audience awareness, and the ability to keep training outcome-focused will be important.

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as One-Off Assignment work delivered primarily in a In-Person environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Business Acumen content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Business Acumen training sessions for client teams linked to Nanjing and wider Asia.

Preferred Background

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Business Acumen; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.

  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
  • Comfort operating in In-Person settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
