Kathmandu Capability Building Specialist – Code of Conduct

This role supports the growth of our Code of Conduct trainer pool and would suit a credible Capability Building Specialist available for assignments associated with Kathmandu.

Brief Overview

The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.

This opportunity is targeted at a strong specialist trainer with proven Code of Conduct expertise and experience supporting regulated teams, managers, and corporate employees in Kathmandu, Nepal, and across Asia. The brief focuses on practical delivery, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality learner engagement.

Core Responsibilities

The current requirement points to Hybrid delivery and should suit someone comfortable supporting Short Series projects.

  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Code of Conduct content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Code of Conduct training sessions for client teams linked to Kathmandu and wider Asia.
  • Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.

Candidate Background

Demonstrable expertise in Code of Conduct; confidence running workshops, training, or advisory sessions for corporate audiences; strong command of policy-driven content, risk themes, and practical behaviour-based learning design; comfortable working in hybrid environments.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Code of Conduct with evidence of practical business or corporate application.

Ideal candidates will have worked across compliance, risk, governance, ethics, or regulated-environment training, with the credibility to engage client stakeholders and deliver practical learning outcomes for business audiences.
