Kathmandu Hybrid Learning Consultant – Scenario Planning

We are seeking a delivery-ready Hybrid Learning Consultant with proven Scenario Planning capability for assignments connected to Kathmandu, Nepal, and broader Asia.

Brief Overview

The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.

An upcoming client brief requires a capable consultant who can lead Scenario Planning learning engagements for senior managers, leadership teams, and transformation stakeholders in Kathmandu, Nepal, and across Asia. Success in the role depends on practical facilitation, business relevance, and the ability to help clients support senior decision-making, transformation, and strategic leadership capability.

Core Responsibilities

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Consulting work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Scenario Planning content easier to apply after the session.

Candidate Background

Relevant practitioner-level experience in Scenario Planning; strong facilitation and stakeholder communication; senior-level credibility, strategic judgment, and the ability to facilitate thoughtful discussion with experienced professionals; able to structure sessions that balance concept, discussion, and application.

  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Scenario Planning with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
  • Availability for project-based work linked to Kathmandu, Nepal, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.

Preferred candidates will bring exposure to strategy, transformation, executive capability, or senior leadership advisory work, along with experience working with managers, professional learners, or client-facing business teams.
