We are interested in hearing from experienced Lead Learning Consultant professionals who can deliver Influencing Skills training for organisations operating in and around Nagoya.
Brief Overview
Client is seeking an experienced consultant to deliver Influencing Skills training for managers, team leads, and client-facing professionals in Nagoya, Japan, and across Asia. The assignment suits a commercially credible facilitator who can help clients improve communication quality, influence, and stakeholder alignment in the workplace.
We expect this work to suit trainers who are organised, responsive, and comfortable shaping delivery around business context, participant maturity, and operational realities.
Delivery is expected to take place in a In-Person format, with the engagement currently framed as Multi-Session Programme support.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
- Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
- Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
- Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
- Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
Candidate Background
Strong practical expertise in Influencing Skills; prior experience delivering corporate learning or facilitation engagements; excellent facilitation, coaching instincts, and the ability to use examples, role-play, and feedback effectively; able to tailor delivery for adult learners and client stakeholders.
Strong fit for consultants, trainers, or practitioners with experience in business communication, presentation, facilitation, or stakeholder management programmes and a track record of supporting professional capability-building initiatives.
- Proven subject-matter credibility in Influencing Skills with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
- Availability for project-based work linked to Nagoya, Japan, and wider Asia where relevant.
- Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
