Learning & Development Consultant – Cross-Cultural Leadership (Nanjing)

We are interested in hearing from experienced Learning & Development Consultant professionals who can deliver Cross-Cultural Leadership training for organisations operating in and around Nanjing.

Opportunity Overview

We are building our pool of trusted consultants for Cross-Cultural Leadership assignments in Nanjing, China, and across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients build stronger people managers and more effective team leadership.

We expect this work to suit trainers who are organised, responsive, and comfortable shaping delivery around business context, participant maturity, and operational realities.

Delivery is expected to take place in a Remote / Virtual format, with the engagement currently framed as Multi-Session Programme support.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Cross-Cultural Leadership content easier to apply after the session.

Preferred Background

Hands-on credibility in Cross-Cultural Leadership; experience facilitating learning for business teams; credible management experience, facilitation maturity, and strong behavioural coaching capability; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.

A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes people management, manager capability, team leadership, or change leadership in corporate or enterprise environments.

  • Comfort operating in Remote / Virtual settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
