Shenzhen Capability Building Specialist – Cybersecurity Awareness

We are seeking a delivery-ready Capability Building Specialist with proven Cybersecurity Awareness capability for assignments connected to Shenzhen, China, and broader Asia.

Position Summary

Assignments may range from focused workshops to short capability programmes, depending on the client scope, learner profile, and delivery context. The strongest candidates will be able to adapt content without losing clarity or commercial relevance.

This opportunity is targeted at a strong specialist trainer with proven Cybersecurity Awareness expertise and experience supporting technical teams, business stakeholders, and project users across Asia. The brief focuses on practical delivery, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality learner engagement.

What Success Looks Like

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as One-Off Assignment work delivered primarily in a In-Person environment.

  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Cybersecurity Awareness content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.

Who This Would Suit

Demonstrable expertise in Cybersecurity Awareness; confidence running workshops, training, or advisory sessions for corporate audiences; strong technical credibility, the ability to simplify complex concepts, and confidence working with mixed audiences; comfortable working in in-person environments.

  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.

Ideal candidates will have worked across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology training, with the credibility to engage client stakeholders and deliver practical learning outcomes for business audiences.
