We are interested in hearing from experienced Subject Matter Trainer professionals who can deliver Succession Planning & Talent Strategy training for organisations operating in and around Shanghai.
Role Overview
We are building our pool of trusted trainers for Succession Planning & Talent Strategy assignments across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.
The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.
Delivery is expected to take place in a Remote / Virtual format, with the engagement currently framed as Short Series support.
What You Will Support
- Deliver structured Succession Planning & Talent Strategy training sessions for client teams linked to Shanghai and wider Asia.
- Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
- Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
- Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
- Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
What We Are Looking For
Hands-on credibility in Succession Planning & Talent Strategy; experience facilitating learning for business teams; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.
A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development in corporate or enterprise environments.
- Availability for project-based work linked to Shanghai, China, and wider Asia where relevant.
- Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
- Comfort operating in Remote / Virtual settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
