Subject Matter Trainer (Yangon) – Cybersecurity Awareness & InfoSec

This opportunity is suited to a practical Subject Matter Trainer who can translate Cybersecurity Awareness & InfoSec knowledge into clear business outcomes for assignments linked to Yangon.

Opportunity Overview

We are building our pool of trusted trainers for Cybersecurity Awareness & InfoSec assignments across Asia. The role would suit a practitioner who can tailor content to client context, learner level, and business objectives while helping clients support technical enablement, systems confidence, and cross-functional adoption.

The assignment requires a trainer who can structure material clearly, manage professional audiences confidently, and adapt delivery to different sectors, teams, and levels of experience.

The current requirement points to Hybrid delivery and should suit someone comfortable supporting Short Series projects.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Cybersecurity Awareness & InfoSec content easier to apply after the session.

Preferred Background

Hands-on credibility in Cybersecurity Awareness & InfoSec; experience facilitating learning for business teams; strong technical credibility, the ability to simplify complex concepts, and confidence working with mixed audiences; able to adapt delivery style, examples, and exercises to different participant groups.

A good fit for independent trainers, consultants, or internal capability specialists whose background includes cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology training in corporate or enterprise environments.

  • Availability for project-based work linked to Yangon, Myanmar, and wider Asia where relevant.
  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
  • Comfort operating in Hybrid settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
