We are building our pool of trusted professionals for Onboarding & Retention delivery and are now seeking a strong Learning & Development Consultant for client needs connected to Wuhan and Asia.
Position Summary
This scheduled role is suited to a delivery-focused consultant with hands-on Onboarding & Retention credibility and experience working with HR teams, managers, and leadership populations in Wuhan, China, and across Asia. The work centres on practical application, learner confidence, and helping clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.
The work is likely to involve practical corporate learning, facilitation, and knowledge transfer rather than purely theoretical instruction. We are prioritising trainers who can keep sessions structured, commercially relevant, and aligned with the client brief.
Delivery is expected to take place in a Hybrid format, with the engagement currently framed as Multi-Session Programme support.
What Success Looks Like
- Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
- Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
- Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
- Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Onboarding & Retention content easier to apply after the session.
- Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
- Deliver structured Onboarding & Retention training sessions for client teams linked to Wuhan and wider Asia.
Who This Would Suit
Clear subject-matter credibility in Onboarding & Retention; prior exposure to multinational or enterprise audiences; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; confident supporting learners with practical examples, tools, and Q&A.
Best suited to professionals with backgrounds in HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, ideally with experience working with multinational clients or enterprise teams in Asia.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
- Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
- Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
