Role Overview

We expect this work to suit trainers who are organised, responsive, and comfortable shaping delivery around business context, participant maturity, and operational realities.

This opportunity is targeted at a strong trainer with proven Power BI Basics expertise and experience supporting professional staff, reporting teams, and business users in Zhengzhou, China, and across Asia. The brief focuses on practical delivery, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality learner engagement.

What You Will Support

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Short Series work delivered primarily in a Remote / Virtual environment.

• Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
• Deliver structured Power BI Basics training sessions for client teams linked to Zhengzhou and wider Asia.
• Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
• Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.
• Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
• Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.

What We Are Looking For

Demonstrable expertise in Power BI Basics; confidence running workshops, training, or advisory sessions for corporate audiences; hands-on capability, demonstration-led delivery, and the ability to build learner confidence through practice; comfortable working in remote / virtual environments.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.
• Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
• Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
• Proven subject-matter credibility in Power BI Basics with evidence of practical business or corporate application.

Ideal candidates will have worked across Excel, analytics, reporting, Microsoft 365, or digital productivity programmes, with the credibility to engage client stakeholders and deliver practical learning outcomes for business audiences.
