Client-Facing Trainer – Lean Awareness (Xiamen)

We are interested in hearing from experienced Client-Facing Trainer professionals who can deliver Lean Awareness training for organisations operating in and around Xiamen.

Opportunity Overview

This opportunity is targeted at a strong trainer with proven Lean Awareness expertise and experience supporting operations teams, project stakeholders, and process owners in Xiamen, China, and across Asia. The brief focuses on practical delivery, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality learner engagement.

The role is intended for trainers who can move comfortably between subject expertise, stakeholder discussion, and practical learner application. Sessions should remain relevant to real workplace use rather than abstract theory.

From an operational perspective, the assignment is best viewed as Multi-Session Programme work delivered primarily in a Hybrid environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Translate complex ideas into practical guidance, examples, and decision-making frameworks that participants can use in the workplace.
  • Support participants with examples, clarifications, and implementation guidance that reduce the gap between theory and day-to-day application.
  • Refine materials where needed so the programme remains current, usable, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Adapt delivery to the client brief, participant seniority, and the sector context without losing clarity or pace.
  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Lean Awareness content easier to apply after the session.

Preferred Background

Demonstrable expertise in Lean Awareness; confidence running workshops, training, or advisory sessions for corporate audiences; strong operational credibility, structured thinking, and the ability to link process content to workplace execution; comfortable working in hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates will have worked across operations improvement, project delivery, procurement, quality, or supply chain capability building, with the credibility to engage client stakeholders and deliver practical learning outcomes for business audiences.

  • Confidence working with client stakeholders and adjusting delivery to different business contexts, sectors, and learner groups.
  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops, facilitation, coaching, or advisory work for professional audiences.
  • Proven subject-matter credibility in Lean Awareness with evidence of practical business or corporate application.
