Nanjing-Based In-House Trainer – Learning & Development

We are building our pool of trusted professionals for Learning & Development delivery and are now seeking a strong In-House Trainer for client needs connected to Nanjing and Asia.

Opportunity Overview

Assignments may range from focused workshops to short capability programmes, depending on the client scope, learner profile, and delivery context. The strongest candidates will be able to adapt content without losing clarity or commercial relevance.

This scheduled role is suited to a delivery-focused trainer with hands-on Learning & Development credibility and experience working with HR teams, managers, and leadership populations in Nanjing, China, and across Asia. The work centres on practical application, learner confidence, and helping clients develop people capability, talent practices, and manager effectiveness.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Delivery is expected to take place in a In-Person format, with the engagement currently framed as Multi-Session Programme support.

  • Keep the learning intervention aligned with business priorities, not just topic coverage, so the work delivers visible value to the client.
  • Use practical case studies, scenarios, tools, or workflows to make Learning & Development content easier to apply after the session.
  • Facilitate discussion, questions, and applied exercises in a way that keeps learning commercially relevant and outcome-focused.
  • Deliver structured Learning & Development training sessions for client teams linked to Nanjing and wider Asia.
  • Maintain strong session control, learner engagement, and professional delivery standards across preparation and live facilitation.
  • Coordinate effectively with client stakeholders and internal contacts on objectives, timelines, and expected learner outcomes.

Preferred Background

Clear subject-matter credibility in Learning & Development; prior exposure to multinational or enterprise audiences; strong consulting judgment, facilitation skill, and the ability to connect people topics to business outcomes; confident supporting learners with practical examples, tools, and Q&A.

  • Good judgement around pacing, audience engagement, and the balance between technical depth and usability.
  • Comfort operating in In-Person settings and handling the logistical realities of live corporate delivery.
  • A professional background that supports credibility with enterprise, multinational, or client-facing training audiences.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex material in a clear and applied way.

Best suited to professionals with backgrounds in HR, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, or organisation development, ideally with experience working with multinational clients or enterprise teams in Asia.
